What misery experienced! We were in Breda and on my way to Haarlem my wife got a severe headache and I stopped at a gas station. We could not drive home like this and we drove to the emergency room, where we had to report to the GP. The lady behind the counter asked for id but my wife forgot her wallet at home. She asked for her name, date of birth and address to check into the system. She said she was not insured? I said we were, we pay a monthly premium for that, how is that possible? She didn't want to help us anymore so I started raising my vote because I can't stand injustice. I told her we wanted to see a doctor and we came for that. She said that I had to pay € 127 euros for a consultation. Fine, I'll pay. I will declare that so I paid we were allowed in. After waiting in the hall for 1 hour, all people before and after you will of course be helped. Another doctor said we had to wait in waiting room 2 so we waited there. Having waited another 45 minutes, we were almost 2 hours further and still not helped. I was done with it and went to the counter. I don't have to anymore. I have explained this and want to get out of here and file a complaint. The lady at the desk did not want to give her name. I asked her to call in her supervisor. She didn't want to give her name either, where have I ended up? What kind of hassle is this? Can't I even know who I've talked to? And just file my complaint, isn't everyone's right? What kind of direction is healthcare going in the Netherlands? Surely this is not the intention if you pay such high premiums every month and once you get sick, do you have the right to be treated normally as a person? I am deeply ashamed to live in such a Country. Worthless this.

Misery, dramatic, racist hospital. My wife and I suffered trauma there in the hospital. I do not recommend giving birth in a hospital there, even if you are dying of the pain, go to another hospital.

Tribute to initiative to treat people at home. Think over the edge

Very nice hospital. In January I broke my ankle and (except for the GP post) I was helped very well everywhere. The staff are friendly and professional, I hardly had to wait anywhere and the waiting areas are really nice in places. Taking pictures, the plaster room, appointment with anesthesia, everything went smoothly and quickly and sometimes it was even fun because they were joking. The doctor who operated on me was also very pleasant and professional. I am happy to live close to this great hospital!
