Beautiful place, we enjoyed. Just a pity that you can't park the car easier. Renting a bike is a good idea for the next x. And the museum mill is terribly expensive with entrance, too bad!

Beautiful beautiful old pumping station. This pumping station used to be a steam pumping station. Converted to an electric pumping station in 1924. In 1869 this pumping station took over the task of the 8 mills of the Overwaard to pump the water away to the Hoge Boezem. Nowadays it serves as a visitor center for the world heritage site of Kinderdijk.
