Beautiful small-scale museum on the edge of De Biesbosch / De Elzen. Nice ladies behind the service desk, helpful and communicative. The museum is not large but there is plenty to see, both historically (with a touch of nostalgia) and nature. Personally, I found the most beautiful part of this museum the multicolored flower / butterfly garden in front of the museum, which is especially liked in the summer and frequented by dozens of butterflies and other insects.

A small local history museum with an amazingly rich exposition. In 4 rooms you can get acquainted with paleontological finds, see exhibits from ancient times, the Middle Ages and the epoch of the 18th and early 19th centuries. Surprisingly, such a small museum even has a collection of ancient Roman coins. Among them there are sesterces from the times of Emperor Hadrian. One thing is frustrating. All these treasures cannot be photographed to show the whole world ...
