Café de Oude Sluis

One of my favourite places in Rotterdam. You can really feel at home here.

Very typical historical bar, specialised in rare beers. I think it has one of the most complete Trappist beer selections in the country and it has its own brochure explaining the history of the pub. Besides that, its terrace is located on a canal lock, which gives you an incredible view of the old harbor and mill in summer. In winter they have a terrace on the canal, so it is equally cozy. Toilets are in order. Staff ok. some simple food, snacks like cheese, olives and peanuts, plus toasties and omelettes.

Casual neighborhood bar with a nice location.

The most enchanting place in Rotterdam. I heartly and warmly recommend it for the welcoming mood, authentic and magic atmosphere and quality of the beers!
