kerklaan Rhoon

Nice walking area around Rhoon Castle and the accompanying castle garden. Not too busy and great free parking around. Nice restaurants in the Castle and in the neighborhood.

A beautiful avenue, with "stately" trees - an experience to look around you left and right into the landscape. Beautiful ditches full of "weed yellow flowers" but so attractive in bloom! A must to take a walk or a nice bike ride in the castle garden and surroundings. You can follow the bicycle posts with the corresponding kilometers ..... definitely worth it! In the Castle of Rhoon you can use something outside on the terrace or inside in the restaurant.

The Kerklaan is a beautiful long Lindenlaan running from the Dorpsdijk to the count Bentincklaan / Molendijk, on both sides are pastures with sheep and horses, and runs parallel to the Kasteelgaarde on the south side, on the north side you can look at wooded private gardens. In all seasons, the Linden along Kerklaan gives a different image, colorful in autumn, in winter when fresh snow has fallen, in spring when all the greenery buds again, and in summer when Linden blossom provides a pleasant perfume. !!
