Park Zeedijk

Park Zeedijk is still partly under construction. Of course, that did not mean that we were hindered by construction noises or other activities. it will of course have helped that we were there during the Christmas holidays. We had a house with 2 bedrooms, fireplace, TV and full kitchen. The house felt new, clean and perfectly fine. The kitchen is richly decorated. All necessary pans, coasters, spoons, spatulas and other supplies were present and in good condition. The washing / drying combination present has done its job well. you collect a lot of dirt in the nature reserves that are really 200m away from the park. This is a must to visit (when you walk away from the park, turn right, follow the cycle path up the dike, then follow this cycle path along the dike and then after about 3 to 400m turn left through the passers-by gate into the nature reserve Spot the deer, rabbits, fjord horses and heck cattle.) Iron / board and drying rack were also present and clean. Please note, there are also mosquitoes in winter. There were no screens (yet), so be careful with airing. There is also plenty to do for children apart from their own iPad. Playgrounds, or adventures in the clay. Herkingen itself has a nice beach, also worth a visit, if it is a bit warmer. Fresh, spacious, modern new houses with good beds. Large gas stoves and fully equipped. A big plus are the atmospheric gas fireplaces. Quiet area. Supermarket a few minutes drive and ideal for people who like walking, many nature reserves or beaches in the area. Limited play area for young children.

The cottage itself is fine. For 6 people really exactly fitting. There is really nothing to do in the park and in the vicinity. I am very curious what I missed because there will really be a reason for Roompot to open a holiday park here.

Nice park if you enjoy peace, space and grandeur. You will really relax and the large windows in the house ensure that you can always enjoy the changing spectacle of air and light. If you are looking for entertainment, you can go out, you can do various things in the area, the reception can help you with that. In terms of nature, you can walk to the Slikken van Flakkee in no time, cycle around the fields and also on the beach you are within fifteen minutes by car.
