In Karel V there are two places to eat. You have the basement and the main floor. The basement is for groups of people and is very cosy and get some good privacy. On the main floor you can eat as a normal restaurant. The staff is very nice and food is well prepared. The biggest downside is the price. Which is 40€ for a three course menu without drinks.

Without doubt the best restaurant in Goes.The lady who runs it is the perfect host, the food delicious and well presented, and the view over the harbour perfect. Do ask for a look around inside the building which is stunning. If you are anywhere near-go there.

Very pleasant and very friendly staff. The restaurant is a particularly beautiful old historic building in a beautiful historic setting. The building was restored after a city fire thanks to the support of Charles V in mid-1500.
