The day after our wedding I brought my wedding dress to Hearts 5 for steaming. I specifically asked if steaming would not be a problem since it is a dress made entirely of lace. "No, this is not a problem," was the answer. After he was steamed, I checked it quickly. He was indeed nice and clean again. A few weeks later I decided to adjust the dress again, and it turned out .. The dress was shrunk, 3 cm shorter than before! Also at the seams, it is now completely 'pent up' because the fabric has shrunk. Very sad and disappointed we (my husband and I) went back with the dress. We had to leave the dress behind and they would send it back to the dry cleaner to have it assessed there. It was immediately said that it might be because the label was incorrect and that this would be our own risk. Then we heard nothing, so we went back after a few weeks to hear what the verdict of the dry cleaning would be. Sabine was working and she said that she had not heard anything from the dry cleaner because the person who was talking about it is on vacation '. She also emphasized once again that she finds it very annoying, but that it is deductible. This was never mentioned when I brought my wedding dress there. And even then, a dry cleaner knows how to steam a product. With or without label. Sabine said that despite the damage they would provide an 'appropriate solution'. Her colleague (Louisette, or something) would know more about it and she would call us back. We decided to take the dress with us, because nothing was done with it anyway. After hearing nothing for a few weeks (no voicemail or missed call), my husband stopped by again. To make a long story short: it is our own risk, a 'suitable solution' has not been provided. At least, we were offered a gift voucher of € 10. Do they have any idea how expensive a wedding dress is ??? My husband decided to leave it at that and left the store. We advise everyone not to go here. Very poor service and they do not comply with their agreements.
