We spent the weekend here. The very nice owners of the place welcomed us and showed us our private stay. We had a new and nicely designed room with big bed and balcony. The bathroom was big and had both a bathtub and a shower (a horizontal shower. first time to try that). After putting our luggage inside and finishing our welcome drink, we took a walk into the woods. We saw few people enjoying their walk in the woods too, and sometimes we crossed by mountain biking roads. That made us think about renting bikes too. We were told that there is a bike shop nearby. By 7pm we were back to the stay to find that our dinner was ready. It was a big mix of delicious snacks. The rest of the night we spent reading. The next morning we woke up to a nice breakfast. We then drove to the bike shop. It was 3 minutes drive by car, but we could have walked too. We got ourselves 2 normal city bikes and made a long tour around the villages and the woods. It's a nice place if you want to enjoy some good time away from the city. I will recommend this place to other friends looking for a weekend getaway not so far from Amsterdam.

Inn the Woods is a paradise hidden in the forest. We were allowed to stay two nights in The Suite. Here you can enjoy the peace, nature, a delicious breakfast, surprisingly tasty tapas and a delicious dinner. Chris and Vera are very hospitable. We would love to go back here.

Recommended! Great place to rest and unwind from the daily hustle and bustle. You can walk straight into the Amerongse bos through the estate. Vera and Chris are wonderful hosts. They respect your privacy but make sure they are ready when you need something. The Hideway is fully equipped, you will not be short of anything. The breakfast and dinner (tapas and dinner for 2) is to die for. Thanks for the hospitality, Vera and Chris and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful location, a warm welcome by passionate and enthusiastic people, fully furnished accommodation with an eye for details, crystal clear and clean, tasteful tapas, atmospheric fire to be lit (both outside and inside), wonderful beds, extensive breakfast with a personally written note. Normally I don't like the exuberantly high marks, but I suspect that even with hard searching you can't find a downside. What a must !!!!
