Bed & Breakfast Weids

We had a lovely stay at B&B Weids. The room was super clean, beautifully designed with spectacular views and lots of hiking opportunities nearby. Breakfast was amazing and always came with a homemade surprise.

In a word: amazing! I was allowed to stay 2 nights at B&B Weids, in the largest suite. In 3 days I have completely relaxed and I could really relax. The 4-person Rhine Suite is a pleasant studio with peace and space. The room is incredibly clean and fully equipped, with a real eye for detail. You can see that everything has been well thought out. The view is one of the many advantages of this accommodation: the Rhine with its green floodplains and breathtaking views. The B&B has also provided excellent services for this, because binoculars are available to spot birds, cattle, swans and ships. Every morning Ellen serves the gracious and varied breakfast with unique egg dishes. During the season, the herbs and fruits come from our own greenhouse. So really enjoy! Add a fragrant cup of coffee with the Nespresso machine (also available decaffeinated) in the kitchen, which is equipped with the utmost luxury. In addition to an induction hob, fridge and combi oven, there is a dishwasher with lighting, super thoughtful. There is plenty to do around the B&B. The natural beauty is truly endless. So you are close to the beautiful forest area of ​​the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with, among other things, the small heather (my favorite), varied and pristine vegetation and delicious blueberries and wild blackberries. Or take the ferry across the Rhine towards the Betuwe for fresh cherries in season. But even without cherries, this was worth the bike ride! In neighboring villages, the tobacco museum, Amerongen castle and the Cuneratoren are recommended. A fine pedicure salon is a stone's throw away, as is the traditional butcher and real baker. Moreover, B&B owners Ellen and Sjaak are very friendly and hospitable. I can't help but give 5 stars to this 3-day retreat. Ideal to get away from it all and recharge. I enjoyed it!
