From the moment you enter you feel welcome, you are pampered and Marije and Arthur are ready for you. We really enjoyed their friendliness, how they made us feel at home, the cozy atmosphere and the FOOD ... this was so good! Everything is prepared with love and attention and is tailored to your preferences. My boyfriend is vegan and she also made the best dishes for him. The room was neat and nice and the possibility to book a massage and to lie in the jacuzzi makes the stay a great success! It is a must and we will definitely come back! Been away for a few days in beautiful Amerongen. Nice host and hostess Arthur and Marije. Wonderfully pampered and cozy to eat and drink in the rooms. Sit outside in the jacuzzi and take a nice walk in a historic environment. Highly recommended!
Had a fantastic stay at De Smederij. The house is beautiful, the room and bathroom are neat and the living room with fireplace and record player is very cozy. The hospitable Arthur and Marije have spoiled us to perfection with delicious breakfast and dinner! In the snowstorm with bubbles in the jacuzzi then made it complete for us. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.
B&B next level! We have been to many B & B's but never been as spoiled as Marije and Arthur! Beautiful B&B, beautiful surroundings and super sweet hostess who can also cook great! We will be back for sure!
Fantastic place for a weekend getaway! Nice, clean and modern, but witty rooms. Fantastic garden where you can sit in different seats. Hostess and host are very friendly. In addition, Amerongen is a nice historic village with much to see. We will come back for sure!
