Wilms Den Helder

On behalf of my 85-year-old mother: She bought an induction plate through Wilms and had it installed by the company 26 months ago for approximately 1400 euros. The thing breaks down just outside the warranty. You can expect such a product to last 5-10 years. Wilms is completely unconcerned about a complaint and refers to AEG. AEG will arrive next week and says it will charge 185 euros call-out costs. How can you abandon a defenseless woman of this age like that, I would almost say scam !!!

Blacklist and boycott. Wilms Installatie Techniek belongs on a black list. This story actually happened. Fifteen minutes after the agreed time, a mechanic appears on the roof without a ladder for air conditioning work. The customer is accused of having a ladder ready. Then the mechanic returns an hour later (with ladder) pumped up and reared. The mechanic's gym look isn't a problem, but his eye-catching enemy eyes and short fuse are. Another discussion and my patience has been severely tested. I felt pressured, also because he knew I still had an appointment. That job could have been completed a long time ago. After endless training, I had to send the mechanic away and I arrived late for my appointment. I probably wouldn't have had a guarantee on the job anyway. And then the bill! It contains even more hours than the whole story including all the waiting. I was furious ... but not unreasonable. I had noted the actual 'working hours' myself and reported extensively in a neat letter with a reasonable proposal. It was dismissed as 'your times are not correct'. A reminder and imminent additional costs was the answer. The customer is apparently being ignored. Apparently they have chopped with this ax more often and mechanics can shamelessly work like this. Calling for consultation has proved pointless and a normal conversation was not possible. Really ... don't do business with it. If you don't feel the need for bad work, which is way too expensive with a provoked argument in the bargain, you are just going to boycott Wilms Installatie Techniek.

A company that thinks along with you and is certainly understanding. We got into some problems at the hands of another company and Wilms dealt with this very well. They help you and think along with you.

Beautiful showroom. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fairly wide range. Terribly sorry that they have closed the parts shop so that small and cheap repairs are no longer possible. Alternative is to buy new :(
