I booked an executive room in january during a cold winter day. The room (215) was spacious with high celings and looked okay but it was terribly cold inside! I had to put a pillow under my feet while I was working on my laptop at the desk. After a while I had to sit near the heater with my feet up to it to get warm again. So it was an unpleasant and cold stay.
What a nice place to be! The restaurant and bar are amazing, the food is delicious and the staff makes you feel really welcome! It is located 10 min from Amersfoort downtown and is very easy to find transportation there and back. The garden is huge and the view is priceless!
Quality hotel with an absolutely good price. Somewhat outside of Amersfoort yet just 25 minutes walk to the train station (5 minute drive). Location of an excellent and popular restaurant. Large rooms, nice crew at the reception desk, 4 star quality 100% deserved. I recommend the restaurant - the meal that sounds super simple - a hamburger and fries.. oh my.. absolutely a master level! And the hotel's cabernet sauvignon.. man.. do try!
Best customer service and great food
Stayed at this hotel for three days as part of a training. Nice meeting facilities and relaxing spaces. The food was good, always plenty of choice for all meals. The room itself was acceptable, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Only negative point was that the room was not ready at 3PM, which I can understand after a long Easter weekend, but with a group of business guests you should notify them ahead of time if this is going to be the case.
