The guys here are the greatest when it comes to sports bikes. They mostly do road cycling bikes but they are also well equipped to do MBT and time trial bikes. Every new bike is fitted to your body and wished via a dynamic bike fitting. They don't do bad gear so you won't get a bike for let's say €500, but they do deal in quality and their bikes range from basic to fully custom fitted and designed bikes. Also important to mention is their great coffee and community of cyclists from the area that runs in and out all the time. They host bike rides on the weekends which I often join and are suited for both more junior riders as for more hardened riders.

Around the turn of the year I bought a new bicycle for the second time from the Mechanieker. After a nice bike fitting (which by the way came out about the same as almost 5 years ago;)) I went into the process of assembling my bike with the gentlemen. I wanted an aluminum Couple because I knew what kind of 'workhorse' that is and I had registered for The Ride. During the selection of the color combination and the rest of the equipment I received excellent guidance and advice and I have already been riding quite a few nice kilometers on the bike. PS. that 1st bike was not a racing bike :)
