I love this little ol’ wool-shop in the heart of Amersfoort. It is not the only wool shop Amersfoort has to offer, but it is my personal favourite.

Nice wool store, a bit old school, but I like that. I am always pleasantly and professionally helped here, if they don't have something, it can usually be ordered. They also like to make time to explain a pattern.

Mur is a very nice store with a large assortment of wool, acrylic, crochet and knitting needles, embroidery thread and patterns, quilting material and much more! The ladies who work here are very friendly and take extensive time to help you and also give advice about patterns and colors. In addition, crochet / knit lessons are also given for a nice price. In short, highly recommended if you like crafts!
