ROC van Twente - Wierdensestraat

An, in my opinion, unprofessional, internally oriented school. Complaints are not taken seriously, parents of minors are not informed or kept informed. Communication is below any level, mentors are downright bad and disinterested. Internships are poorly organized or not at all: everything is arranged at the last minute and above all arranged yourself! Qualities are below par: hear various teachers speak English and you get the feeling that you are in Allo 'Allo. Now, in the corona time, barely any lessons: online takes 2 to max. 15 minutes and is very poor. If it wasn't so sad, it would be comedy. We deeply regret that we took our child to this school (catering). You have to go everywhere yourself, the mentor barely does anything and is NOT in contact with the student at all, even if the student indicates that she cannot get out. Complaints are not taken care of: you will be "put on your number" by email and you will never hear from it again. It is a great shame. Am investigating whether we, as a group of parents, can put the educational inspectorate on this matter. Answer following the reaction of the owner: unfortunately that will not be possible: that has already had consequences for my child! I will not take that risk again! What I would advise you: conduct a survey among the students of Horeca, see if the teachers keep to the agreements (and not, like today, unannounced absent during an MS team lesson while the entire class was present!)

In itself it is a nice school, but due to the current rules it is less so

A school where craftsmanship is central.

I was there for 2 hours or so in the canteen and I didn't see anyone in this school who really wanted to be here. Funny to see tho
