Have been coming to Autotechniek Holtjer for years ... and despite the fact that it is a small company, the service is TOP. Ed is personally involved and wants the best for his customers. Works solution-oriented. Mariska is also very involved and always helps the customer. We have maintained 5 cars there for 26 years and it is running great. The communication is also fine ... you feel heard and everything is negotiable. In short ... we are very satisfied customers and have been driving safely for years. I definitely recommend this Garage ...

My family has been coming here for generations so when I went to look for a car it was no different due to the pleasant experience over the years. I indicated my car wishes to Ed and he went looking for a good match for me and that worked. At this garage they are friendly and reliable what more could you want. Highly recommended!!!

Short version. Astoundingly bad. VW Touran 1.4 TSI Highline sold to us with worn distribution chain already during sale. After less than 8 months, more than 2,200 euros in repair costs.Distribution, front pipe of exhaust, end stops of rear shock absorbers, battery. Our family had been a customer for years, from 1997 to last year very satisfied. Had complete faith in Ed Holtjer. That broke us up on this car purchase. Ed has deceived us professionally and during the warranty period he made the impression that the rattle could not be bothered during start. The water pump broke just after warranty. Then we discovered the infamous chain problem. Ed did not care about the chain problem at the time. Same setup as in Raul's review. Ed cannot stand criticism and got angry. Not open to reason. Conclusion. In this case, Ed is clearly in the category of bad car dealers. Unfortunately, we were too trusting in him.
