Nice to walk over, museum retro-like, but expensive for 10 euros, little open on Monday, no parking on the East Island, then you have to park elsewhere in Hoorn

This artificial peninsula, where the former prison complex Oostereiland (Krententuin) is also home to the 'Halve Maen', is now a movie theater, apartment complex and of course the Museum of the Twentieth Century. Nice location to walk around in good weather and to watch the boats that leave the harbor.
