Wonderful to feel what it must have been like to live in the golden age. You step into a world that I only knew from paintings. And you can touch (almost) anything! 😀

A small but interesting museum house. We were warmly welcomed and given an explanation. With the audio tour we went through the house ourselves. Interesting rooms and fun facts. The hanging room and bed towns were nice to see. We also got a cup of tea in the front room on nice crockery. At the end we looked at linen with a close look and the quality "guessed". Also nice to see the B&B. We took it very easy and were sweet for an hour and fifteen minutes.

Beautiful museum house, with a beautiful view of the harbor. On the higher floors, pay attention to the low beams! The dark box bed is very surprising! #hoorn #museum

Small but very nice and interesting museum. You really think you are back in the 17th century. The audio tour ensures that you will be entertained for a while.
