Great assortment with very hospitable staff. I come here often to purchase their homemade lunches, which are made daily with a lot of love. Warmly recommended.

What was said by others before me is True. Very friendly and helpful people, very well chosen merchandise, i recommend the freshly made noodlesoup. The broth is extremely good. I love this shop. Foodies with interest in asian cooking will have a good time shopping here.

All I need for authentic Vietnamese recipes are here. It is just amazing how I could find even the kind of flat rice noodle (Mi Quang), which usually is very rarely available in Netherlands. The owner is always friendly and helpful. I quickly feel at ease and at home everytime I enter the cozy store. Will definitely come back for more.

Late last year my wife and I visited Mayvy, a new specialty Vietnamese and SE Asian food store in Amstelveen. My wife is from China and has quite a bit of experience with Asian food stores in the Netherlands. She always tries to find special food that she is used to eat in China, and that is not available in the standard Dutch supermarkets, and she is quite picky. Both of us were very positively surprised when visiting Mayvy. Not only does the store look very friendly and is everything well-organized, but also the assortment of food is very large. We particularly liked the large assortment of frozen foods and the delicious takeaway meals that were on stock. The owner told us that these meals are made fresh daily. Very impressive. We also highly recommend visiting the website of Mayvy, because there is even more to choose from there and home delivery can be easy if you don't own a car or live close to Amstelveen.
