Actually, this place is just a big sports hall that is mainly used by volleyball club Apollo Mill. A few times a year, the sports hall is rented and used for some event and then adapted and converted for that, probably to generate some income for the association. So today my wife and I are here for the annual handicraft market where all kinds of hobbyists, craftsmen and artists try to sell something. It is usually quite a happy affair in these kinds of markets, so I go along now and then. Then I can help my wife, chat a bit with the people, it keeps me off the street and I don't get on too many bad thoughts. It is well organized here. On arrival there are enough volunteers who immediately help us to get the car's stuff to our stall. Inside, things are well organized, everything is organized clearly, everyone can find their place, tables and chairs are sufficiently available, as is electricity for those who want it. Catering is also provided, coffee and cake, sandwiches, soup, croquettes and frikandels and various drinks, it's all there. The service runs smoothly and the staff is friendly and looking forward to it. The afternoon is going well, my wife is doing pretty good business, I have nice conversations with this and that when I go outside to sit in the sun. When the market is over, we are again helped by the volunteers. Before we know it, the things are already back in the car and we can go back home.
