Vorstengraf

This probably was the biggest grafheuvel in the Netherlands (3 meters high and more than 50 meters of diameter) but someone decided to cut it in half? I can't understand why. It's a shame, but at least you can still visit the place and there's information about it there (only in Dutch, though).

Nice place to rest for a moment

I gained my first excavation experience here during my study archeology in Leiden in 1997 and I have good memories of it. Except for the fact that this had to take place in protective clothing because the residents of the former caravan camp had contaminated the ground with battery acid to such an extent that it posed a health risk. The municipality of Oss has now placed a nice monument there.

Nice piece of history with good information panels and easily recognizable in the landscape.

The royal tomb and the surrounding pile and ditch tombs are clearly recognizable in the area. In addition, there are information boards with source references so that anyone interested can also look up reference books to find out more.
