From the moment I became a customer at this garage, the service has been worthless. I bought my Volvo V60 plug-in hybrid from the dealer in Utrecht. The service there was always excellent. After moving to Amsterdam, I ended up at the BAN garage in West. The service here has been pitiful from the start. The touchless car entry was defective, which according to the garage would not be covered by warranty. This problem also occurred with two friends with the same Volvo, but with them in the garage all touchless entries were replaced without any problem. After a lot of pain and effort, a handle was initially replaced and eventually the other 3 also (because these also started to falter). The ISG also broke down. This is a known defect at Volvo. In the Plug-in hybrid, the ISG is too weak a component for a too heavy car (because of the heavy batteries). Because this was out of warranty, the Ban garage wanted me to pay for the full damage. This part is fully reimbursed for an acquaintance. In addition, it turned out that this part can be overhauled, which costs only a few hundred euros instead of the requested 1600 euros. Resume: If you have the opportunity to go to the Volvo dealer in Purmerend or in Utrecht, I would advise you to take a detour and drive around the Ban garage with a very wide arc, because I don't have anyone, myself included. know who has been satisfied with this garage or is still a customer there. Also, the response to this review of the bangarage confirms what sneaky people work there by doing. whether my car is 8 years old, while they know very well that it is from November 2013.
