I got injured 6 years ago during a cycling race. This meant the end of my cycling career. Very unfortunate, because I was still Dutch Champion at the age of 8 and 9. During a presentation about additional individual training and Cycling Matrix, I started talking with Eline de Lange about new insights and treatment options in sports physiotherapy. After an extensive physiotherapeutic examination, there appeared to be a lot of immune stress on various muscle groups that gave active trigger points. In addition, I could not put enough strength with my hamstrings. I have been treated twice with dry needling and the complaints have completely disappeared. Thanks to the Red Cord method of Neuromuscular training and the Cycling Matrix, I am able to cycle pain-free again. Finally a victory over my physical complaints that started 6 years ago with a bicycle accident.
