Huisartsenpraktijk De Hoed

My husband had gone to this practice for a skin problem. The doctor gave him a medicine for Epilepsy. We even bought the medicine at the pharmacy and my husband was about to take it. Luckily I somehow checked the name of the tablet on Google and we realized that the prescribed medicine has no connection with a skin condition and is infact a medicine for Epilepsy with serious side effects The medicine itself was supposed to alter the chemicals in the brain. The doctor later on admitted that he made a mistake. Cannot imagine what would have happened if my husband would have just taken the medicine. Will not recommend this practice at all given such grave mistakes being made by the doctors.

I have been with De Hoed since 1980, so exactly 40 years, with a wide range of my illnesses. All doctors have always helped me with care and in a professional manner with patience, understanding and attention and always with the correct diagnosis and / or referrals and treatments. I have now moved and unfortunately I have to leave the doctor's practice at De Hoed, where I have been going for years with a good feeling and been treated well. An extra compliment goes to the ladies behind the counter with their professional but above all friendly and compassionate attitude to the patients. All the best!
