Do not come here with a bicycle! Because of this campsite saying they have no space (we had a look around and yes, there was space), we had no choice but to camp in a nearby field with no water or toilets. This place does not send a good message to foreign bicycle tourists such as ourselves.

A very well maintained campsite with very friendly owners. The caravan will be put on your place on request and back on the path upon departure, ready to drive away. The pitches have a gravel bed so that a ground cloth is not necessary and you do not have to clean much when you leave. Yet for me the campsite does not get further than 2 *. Something that the campsite owners cannot do anything about, but can be important, is the road noise from the A2 and the through main road Echt - Ohe en Laak. Unfortunately, it is also easy to hear at night ... The biggest downside, however, was that it is a real senior camping site. That is not clear on the website. For example, it is not desirable for children to stay overnight. For others that may be nice, we didn't think so because we prefer a more mixed audience, young and old. The sanitary facilities, on the other hand, are always clean, the number of showers (6 in more than 70 places, so approx. 140 people) a little too few. There is a nature reserve adjacent to the campsite (lake with roughness). Bicycles are actually a must if you do not want to take the car every time for shopping (in Echt). Bicycles can be rented at the campsite, and there is a covered bicycle shed. A nice campsite for the elderly, but a pity that this is not clearly stated on the website and a pity about the traffic noise.
