Arrived early evening without a booking, having realised that the other local campsite we were planning to go to wasn't going to work for us. No problem. We checked in at the on site bar and were invited to pick our pitch (which is my preference). We found a lovely pitch - and there were lots to choose from. We were the only tent in a field of mainly caravans so we created a lot of interest as we speedily pitched our rather large tent. What a lovely campsite. Excellent central building with great facilities: freezer, undercover washing up area, hot showers. Only downsides were: 1) having the men's urinals so easily viewable and 2) remembering to grab some toilet roll from the central dispenser before entering the toilet. But none of these quicks spoiled a great visit to an excellent campsite in a lovely area. Highly recommended.

Friendly people. Beautiful places. Well organized toilet / shower building. Nice inn too. Hopefully this will be continued by the new owner.
