An absolute must! On arrival we were totally surprised by the large guest room with a recently renovated bathroom, with a beautiful view of Groningen. Arjan and Heleen were super hospitable and helpful. There was plenty to do in the area, such as the Pieterburen Seal Center, kayaking, cycling, Dark Sky Park and nice towns. And last but not least: the breakfast was huge and delicious. We enjoyed!

After our very positive experiences in Italy with Arjan and Heleen, we now spent a wonderful weekend with the family in Wilgenheerd's attractive apartment. What a beautiful place they have made it again! Fully equipped and very hospitable. We were also surprised by the beautiful nature of the Hogeland. Nice walk made by Arjan and Sunday walking with wadloopavonturen.nl. In short, a great weekend in a top place!

We really enjoyed the beautiful and spacious apartment of Wilgenheerd. We have lacked nothing in this. A cozy and homely furnished apartment. Wilgenheerd is a beautiful estate from which you can enjoy cycling, walking and enjoying nature and tranquility. Vanuatu Wilgenheerd are also highly recommended for a day trip to Groningen and / or Schiermonnikooog! The owners, Arjan and Heleen are super hospitable. Even in the morning a delicious sandwich from the bakery with a 'good morning wish'. It is these little things that made our stay in Wilgenheerd special. Beautiful place with two beautiful guest rooms and a small campsite. Arjen and Heleen are very hospitable. Close to the mudflats, suitable for walkers, cyclists and anyone who likes peace and quiet.

And another gem of a small campsite in the Groningen country. Arjan and Heleen have recently started running this campsite and have invested heavily in, among other things, brand new sanitary facilities in the farm. Very spacious and a hot shower without coins. Very hospitable reception with a good explanation of what to do in the area. Ideal base for a day in Schiermonnikoog
