Bibliotheek Schiermonnikoog

The library has only a small section of German children's and teen books, but that's enough for the holidays! Children get a free rental card and can borrow up to 10 books at once. The librarian is very nice and speaks very good German. Great for kids and teenagers !!

The library has a wide selection of novels for youth and adults, informative books and magazines. There is also a completely own Schiermonnikoog collection. The staff are happy to request what is not in the branch for you. If you are looking for information on any subject, the staff will gladly help you further. You can use WiFi or a computer with internet (the latter for a fee). In addition to these lending and information services, the library also provides advice on media literacy, supports learning to read and organizes various activities for different target groups.
