I highly recommend the two day package, which includes finding your own rocks on the river bed, an overnight stay, and turning your rock into a personal jewel. Caroline is a great (and patient ;)) teacher, who received us with a warm welcome, served lovely lunches and guided us through the entire process from polishing the stone to forging it in silver. A great experience, and a lasting memory to bring home with you!

Years ago I did a workshop and after that I visit Caroline every other week to learn the trade. I have been limited in terms of fine motor skills due to a cerebral infarction, she helps me to find out how to perform it for good.
Well-organized workshop ("Sniffing trip along the Rhine") and attentive organization by also taking into account in the planning a rainy day in which resistance was proposed as an option. Educational, fun, Recommended.
My sister and I both made a very nice personal jewel with their own stones. Because of our both graduation we had received a workshop from 't Sediment Stekieraden from our parents. The first afternoon we spent working on the stone, grinding, sanding and searching for a beautiful shape. After that we worked 2 more afternoons on designing and making the silver box and ornament in which the stone would come into its own.
The guidance that Caroline gave was very pleasant, she uses her knowledge to let you experience the different techniques and possibilities of working with natural stones. She gives good tips, but ultimately lets you actually do everything yourself. It's nice to really take the time for the process, because that is what you end up with around your arm. Value for money, in short a very inspiring experience!
