If your thing is whisky, there are only a handful of places in Amsterdam which you can take seriously, and this one of them. They stock a lot of limited edition single malts, as well as a comprehensive selection of the Dutch-original Millstone label, which is a delightful low country series single malts in various expressions. The genever and korenwijn selection is fantastic, as is the wine section of course.

Independent liquor, wine, and beer store with an amazing selection -- especially of local Netherlands products that I'd never heard of. The owner was super helpful finding things to our taste. Just a few meters from the market street and De Hallen. Oh, and their connected cafe is good too!
