We stayed at the Windketel in late March to early 2017. My mother-in-law stayed there while we stayed at our place nearby. The privacy and amazing location of the Windketel was delightful. Lizbeth, the owner was very hospitable and most gracious. We even got to have a family reunion with my husband's niece and her family - the dining area fit us all and we all had a great time! Thank you, Lizbeth!

Super "hotel" in the statesmen neighborhood. A hotel different than you expect. Ideal base for a long weekend in Amsterdam

We stayed at the Windketel last year. Now friends have asked me where I can find good accommodation in Amsterdam. The answer is not difficult. Then I came straight back to the page and thus came to the belated but honest evaluation.
