It's a lovely nature campsite. I especially love the 'honesty desk', a little green desk where you put the money in an enveloppe after your stay at the site. The forest is beautiful and when the evening falls, little bats can be spotted. The evenings are cold and therefor you are allowed to make a fire, so don't forget to pack marshmallows when you visit this place.

Nice surroundings, spacious campsites. Limited facilities (1 shower). The little natural stream along side can be used to let dogs and kids play in it or to cool down if needed, too small for swimming.

This is a great site if you like camping at the basic level. I myself went with my 4 year old son. We need a campsite and no electricity. The price-quality ratio is fine. One night is not expensive. What you get in return is peace and quiet in a beautiful place in nature. The sanitary facilities are limited (basis is on a hurdle) but clean. There is 1 shower, a bit little but good it is holiday and how bad is it that you have to wait a while for your predecessor. However, the shower itself is very comfortable with nice hot water and a good jet. The surroundings are beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities for recreation. The stream directly at the campsite (which was very low during the time I was there due to the drought) is perfect for casting a fishing rod. Incidentally, I have not had any problems with mosquitoes despite the stream next door. Furthermore, it is really dark in the evening and the campsite is wonderfully quiet. I will come back here for sure !!

Great nature campsite, nice and basic, good campfire places, just a little less sanitary facilities for a high season. Nice area for a walk.

I do not recognize our group at all in the manager's annoying and negative response to a review by one of our friends about processionary caterpillars. Thought it was a beautiful campsite in a truly beautiful setting. Too bad the sanitary facilities are still closed (why?). The only real dissonance was the annoying supervisor. "Rules are rules" was her only motto on an almost empty campsite. Do not think for yourself and devoid of any kindness. Truly not an ambassador of the hospitable Achterhoek and its friendly residents.
