My favourite place to stay in NL
Cozy hotel, restaurant and therrace, very friendly staff, great location at the edge of the forest. Ground floor rooms surprise with own garden sitting area. Breakfast buffet basic, roof floor rooms have heat issues on hot days, one of the rooms had gutter smell.
Very nice hotel and greate food!
Friendly people with 1 exception at breakfast, I guess there is always one who does not understand hospitality. Oh well. Others were great. Lots of nice of workers so no sleeping-in unfortunately. Good food.
The hotel/rooms are indeed a little worn out, but it has everything you need for a long weekend. Restaurant is good and food was tasty. The reason I give only 3 stars is because we had booked a "W-end with the dog" arrangement, but every time we were in the restaurant, we were "pushed" in a corner because we would "bother the other clients"... Sorry, guys, but we are clients too and we had chosen you exactly because you advertise yourself as a dog-friendly hotel. Well, we left with mixed feelings... and we are not coming back.
