Nice surf school In July we were on Terschelling. My daughter was only able to take 1 lesson there due to the bad weather, which was a shame because she was very enthusiastic. Those who run the school are lovely and no question is too much. There is an informal atmosphere and you quickly feel welcome. One point of attention the owner kept a close eye on everything, because the group was quite large he had a number of young girls assisting him. At one point a child panicked, isolated himself and started crying very badly on a sandbox. One of those ladies went to ask if he was still going to surf. Of course the answer was no. Then she called a friend who was sitting on the shore and they went fooling together in the water while the child sat there crying alone. At one point the owner shouted that everyone had to get out of the water and that she had to come and the child was still there. I thought that was absolutely impossible. The father was also astonished to find the child there. He was also done with picking up the child with the plank and they left.

Surf teachers were very nice and accessible, helping to choose the right time to get on the plank. Good communication about the continuation of the lessons. Only point of feedback: maybe give a little more attention to the older children who are not doing well yet.

Super nice surf lesson followed by Loes. Loes is super friendly, helpful and explains well. Their shop in the village is too much fun. Nice clothes and labels. Highly recommended for surfing and shopping at Surfvillage!

Nice lesson and good guidance from my 8 year old son who found it a lot of information in advance, but thanks to the help in the water, he surfed nicely and immediately wanted to go again!
