I had to leave a review after a staff member saw my leave from the hotel and realised I was walking to the train station, and one of the staff saw me and hunted me down with a van to give me a ride to the train station. That was so kind. I was swept off my feet. But not just that, for the 2 weeks I have been there all the staff have been so kind to skaters and treated us like kings. Now how am I meant to go back to normal life?😆 I really hope I get to come back here for a world cup in the future. Thanks!!!

This review is for the restaurant in the hotel, not for the hotel accommodations! The restaurant is owned and run by the hotel - not independent. Excellent, abundant free parking. Attractive and comfortable restaurant seating areas. Friendly and professional staff. Good menu choices. Food is fresh and good, though nothing particularly stands out as being exceptional. Fish and chips not prepared in the traditional British way (I.e., batter coated and deep fried) but rather is breaded and either baked or pan-fried. My piece of fish was clearly quite fresh, was boneless, and tasty, but silvery skin was left on which I found wholly unappetizing - again, not the traditional method. The “chips” we tasty and perfect. Salad was potato salad which may not be the best choice since “chips” are also potato. I did not ask my friend about her carpaccio but she finished it completely so I think she enjoyed it. As she is doing keto diet she asked for eggs instead of whatever is normally served with it, per the menu. Staff was happy to oblige. Was disappointed to not be able to pay at our table after the meal but was instead directed to a cashier in another room. Prices are moderate and in line with the quality of the food.
