Today I visited Boer Bart. Children enjoyed. Friendly play area friendly staff. Toilet room neat. Quality of the catering is excellent, price for children is very good, also nice jam sandwich, peanut butter. Top! Horeca adults I personally find a bit pricey, it is good. For example 1 sandwich with egg and cheese for € 7.50 and a hamburger for € 9.50 (meat from own cow) but without chips .. I think it's just great. You can enter for free as an adult, but that is allowed on all play occasions. I would spend more if the catering prices in this category were slightly more favorable For kids it is wonderful to play outside, parents can relax it is completely fenced.

What a disappointment this was! The only animal we saw was a cage full of chickens. No cow, goat, sheep or anything on a farm should be seen. Very unclear and looking for something to find somewhere, but unfortunately only a plastic cow in an empty stable. Children were disappointed because you have different expectations on a farm. Playground equipment nice but at most eateries this is standard. € 5 per child too much.

A story that I posted last year and that still applies today. 9:45 am hop in the car we go to farmer bart. About fifteen minutes later we arrive at the farm of Boer Bart. We park the car behind the farm and immediately see a nice large and important play area. With a toy car park that would make many mini farmers jealous. There is also a large sandpit, 2 trampolines, a korfbalorf, an inflatable slide (swimming pool) and as an eye-catcher a real tractor (tractor for the westerners). Upon entering you are warmly welcomed by the one and only farmer bart. Bartel as he really is called, introduces himself and explains the vision they want to propagate. And that is that they mainly want to be there for the parents. That is why it has been arranged in such a way that there is peace. No busy children's drawings on the wall or children's music. But lovely chairs, tables where you can chat and quiet music in the background. The number of people who came here early showed that this works. Parking lot filled up quickly. At 11 am there was an excursion into the meadows. Feed the calves and look for eggs. Meanwhile, Bartel explained everything about how things are going on the farm. I write all this while sitting down in an easy chair with a view over the playing field and the meadows with the calves and chickens in the distance. With a nice cup of coffee and carefree around the kids, this is great fun with big G. The kids are having fun and that's why I am too. And that less than fifteen minutes' drive from Heerenveen

Very hospitable and friendly people. Nice that the dog can come. Fine for small children. The chickens and cattle are especially fun for children from 7 to 8 years old. I would give 5 stars if there was something more to do for this age range. For example: table tennis table, football table, climbing frame, climbing wall, dart board, mini goals, feeding chickens, milking cows, swing, old tractor you can sit on to experience how it works, everywhere with clogs, milking goats ... In short, I see possibilities to make it even more successful!

Our children have enjoyed playing in the playground with a stair tractor, sandpit, water pump and trampolines. The food such as the homemade burger where the meat and cheese is also from our own farm is delicious.
