Day care Do you live independently and would you prefer to continue doing this for a while? Who knows, you may miss socializing and contact with peers and would like to have more activities. Then you can choose to visit the day treatment or day care one or more days a week. Daytime activities A pleasant day activity contributes to a sense of belonging, of meaning. It gives structure to the day and stimulates social contacts. A pleasant daytime activity gives color to the day. It prevents feeling lonely, relieves caregivers and makes it possible to live at home longer. Day treatment Day treatment is for elderly people who live independently, but need some support in completing the day structure. You will receive the necessary treatments from, for example, the physiotherapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist. The varied program helps you to continue living at home for as long as possible.
