It's been around 5 years since I've been there, but the same guy is running it so I doubt it has changed. They follow the psychosomatic model of ME/CVS, and believe that our physical symptoms are caused by our incorrect thoughts about being physically ill. After intake with an internist hired by the clinic (they seem to have a new one frequently), further contact with the internist is strongly opposed by the clinic, and the patient is managed by several therapists. Some therapists can be a bit useful, such as advice on ergonomics, but the overall approach is to convince the patient to stop being "fatigued" and cure themselves. I have orthostatic intolerance, and it was a big fight to get referrals for diagnosing and treating that. The clinic and their internist did not want to help, and the clinic director even lied to say he had had ME and testing for orthostatic intolerance didn't help him, to try to dissuade me. The psychologist was strongly opposed to me getting a scootmobiel or using any mobility aid to get out of the house, even though I was stuck inside all the time. When I expressed my frustrations about referrals for orthostatic intolerance, she insisted that doctors could not help me, and only I could cure myself. She then told me to imagine what my life will be like in a year if I don't cure myself, which made me cry, then she kept focusing on that until the appointment was over. I briefly felt suicidal after that for the first time in my life, because she had made me believe my situation was completely hopeless and there would only be suffering for the rest of my life. Then I was just angry - we got the mobility scooter, and it was amazing being able to go places again. As a bonus, I got to see her face pucker up every time I mentioned the scootmobiel after that. Eventually the relaxation therapist made me crash by insisting I do a relaxation exercise which involved flexing and relaxing muscles. I missed the appointments 2 weeks later due to that crash, and got charged for it even though it was their incompetence which caused it. I didn't want to get punished for missing future appointments, and wasn't getting any benefit from the clinic at that point, so cancelled all future appointments. The director of the clinic retaliated by removing my diagnosis, which made it easy to get a refund for the rest of the contract.

Great clinic, good accessibility and expert guidance from many angles (which makes it intensive at the same time). It's great that they can do something with unexplained fatigue complaints. I am happy that I ended up with them. I am only at the beginning of the multidisciplinary process, but I have already gained a lot of insights. Recommended!

Do not respect the privacy of their customers: to make the appointment you have to complete the 36 page questionnaire online. Sending the questionnaire by post or e-mail is not an option for them. The website has regular malfunctions.

Fraudsters !! Send bills with amounts for consultations that have never taken place (I have proof of that!) They then force you to declare this with your health insurance policy. People never start, no intake, nothing .... because it's all about making money from powerless people ...

Huge benefits from the treatment! For me progress with small steps but definitely worth it. A lot of understanding from the staff, not everything is boring and serious, a joke in between also certainly happens which gives me a nice treatment.
