HORRIBLE Customer Service -- Avoid Landal at All Costs The location of Landal Veluwemeer was ultimately fine (see other reviews), however, the booking process and customer service were soo poor, unfriendly, and unprofessional that we can only give 1 star. We had booked 3 houses, as my brother was coming from the United States. Due to Covid-19, his family's flights were cancelled and they were no longer able to come. We kept our 2 houses, and he cancelled his. Upon asking for a refund, customer service said in our first call that the first 70% was processed as he had cancelled before 28 days of arrival and that for the remaining 30% we would get a voucher. We waited and no voucher. We called another 8 times, each time somebody telling us it would get delivered and then it never did... and each time we had to explain it again... Until ultimately we were told they had no idea about a voucher, and that everything we had been told up to this point, she did not know about and didn't amtter. Tough luck she said, you won't get anything from us. It's one thing to not give a voucher. It's another thing to promise one, and then blatantly lie and not deliver. Unprofessional. Dishonest. Unethical. And one reason to never stay with Landal again.

Large six person bungalow, well equipped and clean. Good kitchen particularly and enough space around. The outdoor furniture was very good and the roofed terras super in warm but rainy weather. Surf school Zeewolde was our daily destination at 50 minutes biking distance. Supermarket at the park is good, location nice and spacious. Forest nearby for running and walking. Bike paths all over. Good place for a week or so. Recommended.

Lovely apartment and beautiful grounds. The 3 play parks we've found are a bit limited for toddlers. More restaurants/cafes or more menu choice would be ideal. We're enjoying our holiday.
