On September 8 I contacted your dealer in Voorburg (Zeeuw & Zeeuw) about a test drive with an occasion that I had seen on the site. The employee indicated that the first available time was Saturday, September 12 at 11 a.m. I made the appointment. On the day of the test drive, I received a call at 10:50 AM that the car was no longer available. The employee sold it to a customer who walked into the store and wanted a test drive. When I say I was not happy it is very mild. I am furious that this dealer acted so unprofessionally. When I indicated to the dealer that this is not acceptable, she said: “first come, first served”. Then why do I have to make an appointment? Then I can ignore all (corona) rules and walk in outside of appointment? Then why was it said that there is no time for me and there is time for another customer? Could the dealer not say that there is already an appointment and that if we did not want the car, it would be the turn of the walking customer? What would this have been like if I had already been at the door or if I had had to travel a long way? Then I would already be there at the door and they would happily say to me: “Sorry madam that you traveled for nothing, but someone just walked in and tried the car and took it with him. A waste of your appointment, but have a nice trip back ”. This is really ridiculous! The lady on the phone says that she can't do anything for me when I ask what options there are. It was not even admitted that this was a mistake but it was said casually that these are their rules!
