They have given the app a new look, but it can no longer be used on older ipads. This old iPad is normally still very good to use for reading as an ereader. As an excuse they give that We can read it through the website but that is a totally unworkable tool on the ipad2. It didn't do it for a second. Another excuse library.nl uses is that they have to adhere to the rules of android and apple. How is it possible that the Volkskrant also has new apps, but that I can still use the old app on my iPad to read the newspaper digitally. In fact, library.nl would like to point out that I can buy a new ipad for about 700 euros for digitally renting books. It's a pity and I think library.nl could do a little more in-depth knowledge of his / her user.
