A shop with excellent service.

I would like to warn everyone not to have curtains or curtains made at Annahome, Bankastraat 10, The Hague. We had there made curtains for almost € 900.00 (for 2 bedrooms). The finish is lousy. Loose wires at the bottom of the curtain at the (very sloppy) lead lace. The curtains are skewed, to a total difference of 8cm !! After, among other things, filing a complaint about this with Annahome, we were told to cut the threads. Yes, of course, if you want your curtain to be completely frayed in no time, you should definitely follow their advice. Furthermore, we shouldn't actually be with them, according to Annahome, but with the curtain fabric supplier, JAB in Zoetermeer. Then we also complained there, but JAB referred us back to Annahome. So a cat and mouse game. My advice to anyone who needs new sheer curtains or drapes, is absolutely NOT to go to Annahome in the Bankastraat 10 in The Hague, and do not let JAB advise you in Zoetermeer, the wholesaler of the curtain fabrics. At least if you don't want to buy a cat in a bag! Initially, both Annahome and JAB look extremely reliable. Very friendly and accommodating. Until you have placed the order. After that, the word 'service' will no longer appear in both companies' dictionary. Literally service right down to the shop door. So, be warned about the malpractices of Annahome and JAB. Annahome would rather have very dissatisfied customers than to address their seamstress at the studio for the malfunctions of the services provided. What a huge mess. One more thing. All curtains (net curtains and drapes) have plastic hooks with a 'click' system. Even with 25-year-old curtains. And what is delivered by Annahome ??? The very old fashioned metal hooks. At first we couldn't believe it ourselves. This is a very outdated and old-fashioned system. But we are happy with it in the coming years.
