It's great to have PostNL point here, but you have to be aware of the tariffs yourself otherwise you might get ripped off. I wanted to send a package with insurance up to €400. Employee asked me if I wanted to send with insurance? I said yes. "For how much" - I said for €400. Than she charges me the maximum fee of €14,40. Luckily my recipient told me that was too much. It should be "aangetekend" which is already insured up to €500 and only costs €8,95. When I later told them I wanted the cheaper option, they implied it was my fault because I said I wanted "Verzekerservice". I tried to explain the logic......But even if I would have said that, she should have suggested the cheaper option. Or is it me expecting too much service (brainpower).....??
