I only started playing guitar at a later age. Uncertain, because I had no experience with making music. I am very happy that I chose Thijs. He taught me everything, thoroughly from the basics. Thanks to Thijs, a whole new world has opened up for me! It is also nice that he has a broad repertoire and can introduce you to many different types of good music. You sometimes surprise yourself by unexpectedly having a lot of fun playing a music style that you may have thought was less interested in before.

Thijs has been giving piano lessons to my son (now) 14 for a number of years now and since about a year to my other son of 12. His teaching method is very pleasant and professional. They are both making huge leaps forward and I am always surprised how quickly they learn new things! REALLY recommended!

Thijs is an extremely skilled guitar teacher. He teaches in a pleasant way with a lot of attention for the student. At Thijs you get a thorough basis for playing the guitar: beautiful exercises and pieces, reading notes, music theory and other tips for playing. His new CD "Guitar Tranquility" is also very good.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Thijs for a number of years. He is a kind and patient teacher who gives good instructions. Thijs knows how to transfer his enthusiasm for guitar music to every lesson. I can now play many beautiful pieces, from baroque music to Irish folk music. I never thought I'd come that far.

Thijs is a fantastic guitar teacher. He teaches calmly and professionally. Thijs helped me a lot to improve my weaknesses. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend Thijs. If you are looking for a good guitar teacher, look no further! By the way, you can park well and free of charge.
