Good shop never had any problem over there. Not sure if I was lucky, but every time I was poping in over there, i had a lot of discounted food to choose from :)
Regarding staff again never had any problem. It must have be my personal charm ;)
I have been at Albert Heijn and specifically this store tons of times for a reason, it is closest to my residence. To avoid queues, I always go for self check-out counter. Many a time, one or, the other staff approached me saying she has to re-scan my checked-out basket. And, it was always me and no other shopper at that moment. Reason? Appearance, brown guy. I have heard from many non-white guys, they encountered the same random check. AH must educate their employees in this regard.
Management and cashiers are nice but stock boys are rude and loud. Self service checkout is poorly managed. The area is partially blocked forcing people to come in close contact and the baggage checks from clerks feel like harassment. The store is poorly designed in general.
Very rude staff!! Unfortunately didn't get a name of a girl who was super rude to me because she run away when I asked about the store manager. Most of the stuff in this store also doesn't care about social distancing.
