Eetcafé The Ollie's

Our family visits Maassluis often to see friends and family there. We always stop in at Ollies (Eetcafe The Ollies) I wanted to give a review and did find it Google for the address Rozenlaan 2-A, 3142 NN Maassluis, Netherlands. So, what makes Ollies so cool is the relaxed-friendliness and family friendly, casual atmosphere. Everybody knows everybody it seems, and even if I am a stranger, I am immediately a friend, whether we have been introduced or not! Everyone says hello to our son & daughter, and ask how they are doing, in english, speak with them as naturally as I've ever seen! It has a large U-shaped bar, and folks come in and start talking with each other and is open to many tables, with dart boards (their are teams and tournaments apparently) an outdoor covered smoking lounge, too. Every time we go in, people come up to us, or another 'newcomer' and say hello - My husband speaks Dutch, I do not, but it doesn't matter. As soon as I speak english, everyone changes to english! We bring our children, as there are other children, and they all walk around and play, this is how it is.so very relaxed & easy going, and they love children! This is the only place I want to go for snacks & drinks (sodas for me - designated driver!)
