I have purchased a spider XL hardware to run an original navigation screen on my 2007 VOLVO S80. The controller was supposing to run a reverse camera and having a secondary AV channel input to the original navigation screen. The purchase was carried in September 2017. The delivery of the part took 3 months as they were developing a custom software for me - as I was told. After installation it was found to be non-working and after several software updates and months passing, it operated but the reverse camera was on continuously while driving (not only during the selection of the reverse gear). I have contacted them several times but no further updates were sent. I asked for a refund as the system is not as promised and they ignored my e-mails. The camera quality they supplied is poor and the wiring that came with the set had a spilt after some months of usage. I would not recommend to anyone to buy from them online.

In December 2018 I bought a 2nd hand Iphone (Iphone 6plus) for my daughter. She paid for this herself and she had also saved for it. The device was offered through Markplaats and the seller was Volvotech. I drove to Schiedam to pick up the device from Bob, the owner. Bob assured me it was a great device from company stock. When I turned on the device 1 day later, the camera turned out to be defective. A non-original rear was also fitted. When the device was checked by a mobile phone repair shop, it turned out that original screws were not used on the inside of the device; A fake Apple back has been fitted and it was found that the electronics had been tampered with. According to the repairman it was a miracle that the device did not break. 10 months later the device finally gave up the ghost. For the 2nd hand device in December 2018 200 euros paid. Incidentally, I contacted the owner Bob one day after purchasing, who did not give home and immediately sent me the so-called Legal Department. So-called because I scattered defamation because I posted a bad review on Facebook. While VolvoTech has sold a defective product and did not give it home.

Very friendly people who really help you if you have a problem with a product. Absolutely all software knowledge of volvo is here at home! Craftsmen!

The clock on my instrument panel would occasionally run wild and would spontaneously reverse. My day counter could also no longer be reset. On my first visit DIM was soldered through. The clock seemed to work, but after a day it ran out again. Reported this to Volvotech; this was a very rare complaint and went to check it out. After two weeks they had a solution with replacing an IC. Mounted in Schiedam free of charge (because of warranty). Now everything works perfectly. Thanks Volvotech!
