Very nice museum, annex escape room, annex puzzle tour, annex experience event. Experience what the civilians, the resistance and the NSB members experienced from 10 May 1940 to 5 May 1945. Completely rebuilt rooms from that time and completely furnished, with hidden hiding spaces. Actively solve your quest and leave your "stamp" at the end. Fun for young and old. We had expanded the program with viewing and experiencing the Allied vehicles and their trials until the liberation.

Today we went to this super interesting museum. The children didn't really want to because the museum sounds old-fashioned, but this is done so much fun that it is a kind of escape room. You go in different houses, among others. Printer, shop, shelter, secret crawl space on a voyage of discovery and you have to go on a treasure hunt. They have not made this too easy either. You are happy to solve it. We have been in the museum for a total of 3 hours and we were also very impressed with all the war vehicles that could all be seen there. All still in good condition! At the end of the ride, my kids said they liked it a lot and were glad we went there! We recommend this to go to whether it is raining or blood is hot outside. It is covered and nice and cool. Great fun, especially for children !! By means of assignments, in different "rooms", you learn everything about the 2nd World War in Medemblik. In those rooms you imagine yourself in earlier times. After that you can also opt for a tour of old army vehicles where everything is enthusiastically explained.
