Hervormde Kerk Linschoten

Beautiful old monument in the middle of the old village of Linschoten, with a slightly forward leaning tower, but yes: 13th century. He still stands. The upper part of the church tower was built later, in the 15th century (money? Technology?). In 1635 a new spire: funded 'from a special cover of 12 stuivers per morning over the lands in the area'. How would that have gone? Paintings found during restoration in the 1970s. Beautiful green space around the church, on the south side a winding wall from around 1770. Also beautiful!
